Patient A
44 year old male with strong family history of heart disease (most are dead before 50 yrs old from heart attack). Past medical history of heart attack. Still smoke 1-2 pack per day. Comes into ER complaining of chest pain.
Diagnosis: Acute MI (heart attack)
Patient B
31 year old male comes into ER also complaining of chest pain. Have been on 6 days of binging of alcohols after relationship failure.
Diagnosis: Acute MI (heart attack)
Still think heart attack an old guys disease?
prevention is always better than cure
